LOS ANGELES — A 35-year-old woman is in custody following a harrowing shooting at the Beverly Hills residence of global superstar Rihanna on the 8th.
According to law enforcement sources, the suspect—identified as Ivana Lisette Ortiz—arrived at the property in a vehicle and opened fire using an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. Ortiz reportedly fired at least 10 rounds from her car, striking the exterior walls of the mansion and vehicles parked in the driveway.
While one bullet managed to penetrate the outer wall, it did not enter the living quarters. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The most chilling detail of the report confirms that Rihanna was inside the home when the shots rang out. It remains unclear if her partner, A$AP Rocky, or their three children—RZA, Riot Rose, and Rocki—were present at the time.
Police arrived swiftly and apprehended Ortiz without further incident. She has been booked on charges of attempted murder, with bail set at a staggering $10.225 million.
